Frisco Town Stats & Numbers To Know

Greetings from the Frisco Chamber of Commerce! We hope you find the "Frisco Guide" useful.

Frisco is a quaint mountain town located in the heart of the beautiful central Colorado Rockies. We are within eleven miles of four major ski resorts. Recently we have partnered with Copper Mountain in promoting both winter and summer activities in the area. The Gravity Games brought national attention to our region and the incredible experience of skiing and riding at Copper is being recognized worldwide. In the winter, opportunities for downhill skiing and riding are all around us... but wait, there is so much more. We have so much going on it's hard to keep up with all the options. Try cross country skiing at Frisco's world class Nordic center, enjoy a sleigh ride and dinner out under a full moon, have dinner at one of Frisco's many restaurants, or take in some shopping along Frisco's Old Main Street. We have ice sculpting, Colorado's oldest Nordic ski race, historic parks, and on and on. Frisco truly is in the heart of a winter wonderland. Don't miss out!

As much fun as the winters are around here, summer is what keeps so many people coming back. Frisco is located on the shores of Dillon Reservoir and we have a full service marina right here in town. The weather is stunning, mild temperatures and virtually no humidity, and the sun is out nearly every day. Copper Mountain, only six miles from Frisco, has one of several beautiful golf courses in Summit County just a short drive away. An extensive paved bike path runs over 55 miles of picturesque terrain or be adventurous and try our off-road biking adventures. In Frisco and the surrounding area you will find activities for everyone including white water rafting, fishing or try relaxing; we really have something for everyone. The town also has an extensive calendar of events going on all summer; street concerts, arts and crafts fairs, running and bicycle events, and festivals of all kinds - there's always something going on. It's said that most locals moved Frisco for the skiing, but stayed for the summers and it's the truth. So come on up and enjoy our fine hospitality!
