Breweries
Longmont offers an array of local beers at several watering holes through out town. While Colorado boasts of the finest microbreweries in the country, Longmont's microbrews frequently winning awards in various categories at the annual Great American Beer Festival in Denver. Visit the breweries while you're here, pick up the T-shirt, the pint glass and the memories, and when you get home, you can likely fill the glass again with the same great beer, as many of these local beers are distributed nationally!
The Pumphouse offers affordable brew pub food for the whole family to accompany its selection of 10 award-winning Pumphouse beers and full bar. The adjacent Red Zone will keep the sports enthusiast entertained with the 30+ TVs while the Pumphouse displays historical artifacts from fighting fires in the olden days. The indoor/outdoor seating provides great people watching in the heart of downtown (Main Street) Longmont.
Oskar Blues, the newest of Longmont's breweries, has a tasting room (Tasty Weasel) and a full-service restaurant (Homemade Liquids & Solids), both of which are conveniently located on the southwest side of the city, just blocks apart. The restaurant serves pub food, many OB-brewed beers (and a full bar) original décor and live music from lunch time through late night - a place for all to enjoy - whether a more intimate drink and dining experience for tow or a large gathering for the whole crowd!
