Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest, Aug 10-12, Downtown Fort Collins, Approximately 139 years ago Fort Collins was established along the banks of the Cache la Poudre River and this August the community will celebrate this birthday with Northern Colorado's largest community music festival, Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest. The 2012 festival will be held August 10, 11 & 12 in historic Downtown Fort Collins with a special Friday night music kickoff to the weekend. In its 24th year this FREE weekend showcases over 250 arts, crafts and food booths, Kids' Area, a children's carnival, two beer gardens, and nine stages of continuous entertainment highlighting Northern Colorado and the Front Range's wonderfully talented artists. Nelsen's Old Town Car Show, September 8, Downtown, The variety of cars & trucks will include custom cars, street rods, fat fender street rods, muscle cars, classic motorcycles, classic cars and classic trucks. SUMMER WEATHER

Between the Months of May and September high temperatures will usually fluctuate in the 70s and 80s F with lows in the 40s and 50s F. Fort Collins generally receives 1-2 inches of rain each month.
