Black Canyon Ascent, May 14th. Dubbed Colorado's Toughest Road Race, the Black Canyon Ascent starts at the turn-off to the Black Canyon National Park, at the intersection of US Highway 50 and Colorado 347, just 6 miles east of Montrose, Colorado. As you wind your way up to the Black Canyon National Park, you'll take in gorgeous vistas and breathtaking scenery.

Montrose Wine and Food Festival, May 10-13, 12p,-6pm, Historic Downtown Montrose. BBQ, Beer and Bubbles

Mission to Ride, May 15. Join for a wonderful spring cycling event. This is a non-competitive bicycling, tour for riders of all abilities. Road and mountain routes available.
