As you crest the 11,400-foot summit of Berthoud Pass and make your way down US Highway 40, the valley opens up before you like your own four-season playground. From the snowcapped peaks of the Continental Divide to the northern runout of the Fraser River and its tributaries, Winter Park & The Fraser Valley shimmer with life.

This is the great outdoors you've dreamed about: where fresh air and gorgeous natural surroundings meet high-alpine adventures and soothing retreats. It's the perfect convergence of life, nature, and the elements. Winter Park & The Fraser Valley inspires visitors from around the world and constantly rewards those lucky enough to call this home. Come see for yourself.

All just 67 miles from Denver, recreation opportunities abound: 600+ miles of marked and mapped hiking and biking trails, four world-class golf courses, hot mineral springs, whitewater rafting, fly fishing, horseback riding and more.

Winter Park & The Fraser Valley. . . This is my open space. Come get yours.

Attractions

Winter Park Resort
The longest alpine slide in Colorado serpentines down the slopes of Winter Park. A labyrinth of fun awaits at the human maze. Mountainside Mini Golf features historic aspects of the Fraser Valley at all 18 holes.

Take in spectacular views of the Continental Divide as you ride the Zephyr Express Chairlift to the top of the mountain. Hike or bike the resort's vast trail system or enjoy lunch at the Lodge at Sunspot, a true mountaintop oasis.

600 Miles of Fun!
It's no wonder the area is referred to as "Mountain Bike Capital USA." Some 600 miles of hiking and biking trails spread across the valley through peaceful meadows, past rushing streams and up rugged mountainsides.

Most of the trails take advantage of the area's bounty of public lands, including the Arapaho National Forest, Rocky Mountain National Park and BLM lands. 52 miles of single and double-track trails are part of Winter Park Resort's extensive trail system - much of it accessible by chairlift.

High Country Stampede Rodeo
Come "set a spell" for this great western tradition every Saturday night in July and August at the John Work Arena outside Fraser. Bull riding, calf roping, barrel racing and bronco riding are real crowd pleasers. The evening begins with a western-style barbecue at 5:30 pm. Rodeo begins at 7:30 pm. Call (800) 979-0334 for more information.

Grand Links
Grand County hosts four championship golf courses; Pole Creek Golf Club, Grand Elk Ranch & Club, Grad Lake Golf Course and Headwaters Golf Course, are all within 40 minutes of each other. Call (800) 979-0334 for more information. Visit www.playwinterpark.com to learn about Golf Free.

From music to art, Winter Park & The Fraser Valley offers a festival for every visitor. Please contact the Winter Park-Fraser Valley Chamber of Commerce at (800) 979-0334 or visit www.playwinterpark.comfor a complete event calendar.
