Outdoor Divas Demo Day, Dec. 6, Jan 3, Feb. 7, March 7. The Outdoor Divas and Loveland partner up to offer women's specific demo days on the first Thursday of every month. This is your chance to come and try all the latest womens ski equipment before you buy it. For more information on brands and models which will be available to test, please contact Outdoor Divas. There is no cost to participate, although a drivers license and credit card are required for deposit as is a valid lift ticket.
Free Family Race Day, Dec. 15, Loveland hosts a free Family Race Day! The race will be open to skiers and snowboards of all ages and abilities. Come out and race each other for bragging rights and race medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd fastest time in many different age categories. The race is free and open to everyone.
Loveland's 75th Anniversary Party, Jan 12, Come celebrate 75 years of great skiing and riding as Loveland hosts an anniversary birthday party. 22nd Annual Mountaintop Matrimony, Feb 14, 2013, The 22nd Annual Valentine's Day Mountaintop Matrimony ceremony and reception is a Loveland tradition where new couples are joined in matrimony and married couples renew their vows in a mass wedding at The Ptarmigan Roost Cabin, elevation 12,050 feet, located at the top of Lift #2. The Honeymooner's Apres Party for all participants and their guests follows the ceremony at the Loveland Basin featuring music, wedding cake, spirits and even a best dressed contest. Subaru's Master the Mountain, Feb 16-18, Mqrch 23-24 2013, Subaru has created an event weekend dedicated to promoting a safe and enjoyable snowrider environment. MOUNTAIN DINING
Loveland Ski Area offers a variety of dining options from quick and delicious cafeteria style food to made to order dishes at The Wedge Bar. The Loveland Deli offers made to order pizzas and sandwiches along with hot, tasty, homemade soups and chili. Look for the BBQ on the patio on select weekends throughout the season.
LESSONS & DAY CARE
Complete 3 beginner lesson packages and receive a FREE season pass for children and adults. Intermediate, telemark and All Terrain All Conditions (ATAC) 3 Class Passes are also available. Programs include 3 lessons and a season pass for one low price. POLAR EXPLORERS: Multi week program for children ages 7-14. The Loveland Ski & Ride School has something for every level of skier and rider and offers telemark, private, group, family and women-only lesson packages. Reservations required for ages 4-5.

.Loveland receives 422" of snow every year and offers one of the longest seasons in the country - and Loveland is bigger than you think. We hide the good stuff in the back where you can find powder stashes days after a storm. We also have a variety of terrain for every level of skier and snowboarder. Chair 9 carries skiers and riders to an elevation of 12,700 feet high atop The Continental Divide where 360 degree views, open bowls and powder choked chutes await. Extreme not your scene? Loveland is also well known for its perfectly groomed blue cruisers and its separated beginner area - Loveland Valley.
BIGGEST EVENT
21st Annual Marry Me & Ski for Free: This Loveland tradition is held each Valentine's Day at the top of Chair 2. It is a mass wedding ceremony where new couples are joined in matrimony and married couples renew their vows high atop the Continental Divide. Participating couples receive 2-for-1 lift tickets the day of the event.
APRES SPOT
The Rathskeller Bar at Loveland Basin offers spring concerts, Taco Tuesdays and regular après parties. Georgetown and Idaho Springs also offer great bars, restaurants and activities on your way back to Denver. ALTERNATE DAY
Enjoy a day off the slopes in the authentic mountain community of Georgetown, just 12 miles east of Loveland. Georgetown has been luring visitors since the 1850s with its beautiful scenery, rich history and warm hospitality. Or head west to Summit County and shop the Outlets at Silverthorne, just 12 miles west of the ski area.
