USSA Snowboard World Cup, December 14-17- The Visa U.S. Snowboardcross Cup returns to Telluride this December 14-17 as the sole U.S. stop of the LG FIS Snowboard World Cup. The event will feature Snowboard Cross (SBX) and Parallel Giant Slalom (PGS) as athletes from around the world come to take part in these international competitions at the top level of the sport.The PGS will take place on Upper Misty Maiden, off of the Village Express Lift, and Lower Misty Maiden will continue to be the site for the SBX course, finishing right in Mountain Village with great opportunities for spectators both on-snow and on-foot. Over half of the SBX course will be visible from the Mountain Village Plaza.

Parking
In Telluride, free all-day parking is available to commuters and visitors at the Carhenge parking lot on West Pacific Street. The lot is serviced by the regular transit loop. Metered zones and free two-hour parking is available throughout the business district for visitors and business users. In Mountain Village, free parking is available at the intercept parking deck located off of Mountain Village Blvd. Once parked, access to the Mountain Village Core is via a free 5 minute gondola ride.

Allred's located at the top of the gondola, is the perfect spot to sip cocktails and hot chocolate by the fire. The Hop Garden, located at the base of Lift 4 in Mountain Village, boasts a European styled ski bar featuring a beer garden and delicious hot and cold fare - a perfect complement to a day on the slopes. Hot soups, hearty Panini, specialty pasta's and sizzling burgers complement ten specialty beers on tap and a delicious wine selection. The traditional German styled beer garden atmosphere is a great way to soak up sunny winter days!
