The Leland House & Rochester Hotel are owned by mother and son team, Diane Wildfang and Kirk Komick. The two renovated the properties over twenty years ago. When you stay with us, you will enjoy a room in one of our two historic properties, a full, gourmet breakfast, parking, and wifi. Freshly baked cookies and tea are served in the lobby each afternoon.
Leland House Bed and Breakfast Suites
The Leland House offers ten elegant rooms in a lovingly restored brick apartment building built in 1927. Rooms feature kitchens or kitchenettes and private bathrooms; six of the rooms are three-room suites with gas fireplaces. Each room is themed after a historic figure associated with the Leland House. The hallways are lined with historic photos of Durango, telling the story of Durango's wild west.
The historic Rochester Hotel, built in 1892, offers 15 luxurious rooms with high ceilings and private bathrooms. The hotel is situated on a beautifully landscaped site, featuring a flower-filled courtyard. Rooms are decorated in Old West motif inspired by Western movies filmed in the Durango area. Movie posters framed in marquee lights line the hallways.
