CANTERA, which translates to “quarry stone” is very significant in Mexico. CANTERA is a specific material made of volcanic rock from various regions of the country. It dates back to pre-Hispanic culture and is used for the construction of houses and sculptures like our very own fireplace

The blown glass and crafts you see in CANTERA are 100% hand made by Mexican artisans that have been doing so for more than four generations. CANTERA represents the hard work of the Mexican culture.
