Top of the Rockies is the closest Colorado Zip Line and Adventure Tour company to Summit County, only 15 minutes south of Copper Mountain, Exit 195 on Interstate 70. Base Camp is only 30 to 45 minutes from Breckenridge, Frisco, Keystone, Silverthorne, Dillon, Vail, Beaver Creek and Avon. Aspen is only one hour to Base Camp via Independence Pass to Leadville in the summer. Denver is approximately 1-3/4 hours away. Top of the Rockies Zip Line Tours is the ONLY true back-country tour! Spring/Summer/Fall Season - May thru October
PRIVATE PRESERVE at altitudes from 10,000 to 12,800’. Our tour participants are the only folks who can access this scenic back-country area. Learn about the mining history of this magnificent property from our knowledgeable guides, and see some of the 40 old gold mining claims from the era when Leadville was a boom town. Wildflowers bloom in late summer and into the fall; when the color season arrives, see the splendor of the Rocky Mountains from a different view.
Winter Season Starts Mid-November.
Travel up the snowy trails from Base Camp to the first zip departure deck at 11,500 feet of altitude. Enjoy panoramic views in every direction from our husky Pisten Bully Snow Coach, a Polaris Ranger, or one of our Cat Track Vans. See awesome views of Mount Massive and Mount Elbert from the deck of the cozy Yurt.
