French-Algerian dance prodigy Herve Koubi brings his dance company, featuring 14 virtuoso street performers, to perform a diverse array of dance feats and impressive stunts. Hervé Koubi grew up in France where he studied biology and dance at the University of Aix-en-Provence before deciding to concentrate on a dancing career and graduating from the Rosella Hightower School of Dance in Cannes. Since 2010, he has been working with a group of all-male street dancers from North Africa on various long form works including “What The Day Owes To The Night” to be performed at the Newman Center.
