Royal Gorge Whitewater Festival 2022

The 13th annual Royal Gorge Whitewater Festival (RGWF) has activities for all ages and ability levels. This fun festival combines whitewater competitions and whitewater fun floats with land-based recreation to celebrate the Arkansas River whitewater season. The festival will be held in the refurbished and family-friendly Centennial Park. Get ready for a festival that pairs boats, bands, and beer for a weekend of fun-filled events. It's the biggest party of the summer in Cannon City. Proceeds will benefit the Canon City community.

The Royal Gorge has some of the best whitewater in Colorado.

There is a host of events such as whitewater rodeos, SUP parades, community raft races, and beginner floats. Plus land events such as mountain bike trail events, and live music.  Registration is open!  All are welcome to register for events or to watch the fun unfold!
