Centennial Park, Cañon City, COSince 2004, the annual runBlossom race has helped usher in the summer season in Cañon City. As the snow melts and the leaves begin to adorn trees, runners of all ages come together to celebrate the Cañon City Music and Blossom Festival. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this year's runBlossom race will incur some changes. Please note that - in order to facilitate participant caps - we will not be running the half-marathon event this year. We will offer two events: a competitive 5K at 8:00 am (for those who are able to run in 45: or less), and a jog/walk event at 9:00 am. This separation will allow more individuals to safely participate in the event.We believe that being outdoors is essential to the mental and physical health of our community, and we hope that participants will enjoy this modified version of the race.
