A(nother) Night of Grand Guignol

June 21 - July 7, 2018

5138 W 29th Avenue, Denver, CO

Pandemic Collective, a non-profit horror theatre company based in Denver, is terrified to present Yet A(nother) Night of Grand Guignol, back by popular demand! We can't help ourselves, we love a little over-the-top French horror theatre and so do our audiences. Highly stylized and steeped in gore, Le Théâtre du Grand-Guignol was a Victorian theatre in Paris that specialized in showcasing the most outrageous, gory and shocking horror theatre in the world. Founded in melodrama, the Grand Guignol’s plays were meant to stun and terrorize audiences; and the theatre even boasted an on-staff doctor to resuscitate victimized patrons. This evening of Grand Guignol will feature two short horror plays inspired by the legends of Slenderman and black-eyed children, and is underscored live by violinist Sarah Jylkka.

Performances are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8 PM from June the 21st to July the 7th at Theater 29 on 5138 W 29th Avenue. Join us, and get infected.
