BOO at the Bridge!
October 21, 20174218 Co Rd 3A, Cañon City, CO
Royal Gorge Bridge & Park offers a Halloween event, the 3rd annual Boo at the Bridge, for one spooky evening, Saturday, Oct. 21 4-8 pm. This popular event is also sponsored by Centura Health and will feature over 30 trick or treat stations manned by local businesses and non-profits at North America’s Highest Suspension Bridge.
Offering unique family entertainment, Gail Conroy, Boo Event Coordinator, said “every year Boo at the Bridge gets better and more popular. Mummy’s and Daddy’s can treat their kids to a safe, fun, Halloween experience they will never forget.” Conroy said it’s spooky enough just to walk across the Royal Gorge Bridge in the dark!
There will be special entertainment by local dance troupes, B-Box School of Dance and Trevarah Studio as well as the Northern Wind Dancers, a Native American dance troupe. Colorado Circus will delight all with stilt walking, juggling and balloon animals. There will be carnival games, a local DJ will be performing at the Bridgeview Bandstand and a swamp witch and her cronies will be taking over the Plaza Theater.
For this one special evening, the park will charge $12 at the door or $10 online. Season pass holders will receive $5 off tickets sold at the door only. The Park will be open from 7 am to 3 pm that Saturday and closed between 3 and 4 for preparation and set-up. For tickets and information go to www.booatthebridge.com
