Don't miss the La Plata County Fair, located in the heart of Durango at the La Plata County Fairgrounds.

View animals, from goats and poultry to rabbits and pigs, quilts, agriculture, and more. Plus, enjoy a carnival and a Family Fair Dance. Be sure to catch the Demolition Derby (a locals' favorite!) and other fun events such as a draft horse competition, a rooster crowing contest, a rabbit costume contest, and the 4-H dog show.
