A Night Exploring Honduran Cuisine: Learning Sustainability and Human Connection through Global Foods
May 18, 2022
6575 Greenwood Plaza Blvd, Greenwood Village, CO515-360-0345
Join Women in Sustainability, The Same Plate, and Xatrucho Concepts at the newly-opened Grange Hall in Greenwood Village for an evening of local and sustainable travel through Honduran food!
Food is the unifying force amongst all humans and there are so many ways to connect to food and the cultures it comes from, sustainably, from right here in our own backyard. Come for an evening of networking and social connectedness and leave feeling fully nourished by exquisite Honduran food, and filled with passion for creating a sustainable & equitable future.
The evening will include an opportunity to network with other attendees in a private space, lively food presentations from Chef Edwin of Xatrucho, and opportunities to learn more about ways to be sustainable through global foods and human connection.
Because the spirit of this event is rooted in food, sustainability, caring for people and the ways they intersect, a portion of the event proceeds will go to support World Central Kitchen and Ukrainian refugee relief efforts.
All are welcome to join and attendees do not have to be a member of WIS or identify as a woman to attend.
Tickets: $40 WIS Members / $50 Non-Members
