Super Adoption Event

October 8, 2016

622 North College Avenue, Fort Collins, CO

Larimer Humane Society, Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic, and Animal House Rescue and Grooming unite for their 6th annual joint Super Adoption Event, hosted by Poudre Pet and Feed Supply.

Healthy cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies from the three organizations will be available for adoption at a special discount rate. All dog and cat adoptions will include initial vaccines, treatment for internal parasites, microchip and registration, spay or neuter surgery, and a post-adoption medical exam generously donated by a local veterinarian. Adult dogs and cats, as well as puppies and kittens 4 months of age and older, will also receive a rabies vaccination. There will be an additional $12 licensing fee for all dogs and cats that will be residing in Loveland, Fort Collins, Wellington and Timnath, and dogs in unincorporated Larimer County.

Family- and pet-friendly vendors will be on site supporting the organizations and offering free product samples, such as Natural Balance, AvoDerm, Wellness, NutriSource, Weruva, Earthborn Hollistic, Nulo, and Canidae. The Larimer County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit will be holding demonstrations, and face painters will be painting paw prints. Visitors can also get a bite to eat from food vendors Austin Taco and Maddie's Kettle Korn, and the Human Bean is donating coffee and tea.

The Super Adoption Event is designed with the intent of saving more animals' lives in Northern Colorado, and demonstrates the partnership among the open-door and limited-admission shelters of Larimer County.
