April 18, 2018

Pikes Peak Center, 190 S. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs, CO

Following one of the most in-demand concert outings of the last year, Pet Sounds 50TH Anniversary World Tour, music legend and The Beach Boys co-founder Brian Wilson has announced a slate of 2018 North American shows for his Greatest Hits Live Tour.  With special guest Al Jardine, co-foundering member of The Beach Boys, Wilson will bring the Greatest Hits Live Tour to Colorado Springs Pikes Peak Center Wednesday, April 18 at 7 p.m. With his Greatest Hits Live Tour, Wilson will deliver top hits and fan favorites spanning his 54-year career with The Beach Boys and as a solo artist.  Wilson began his career as a teenaged founding member of The Beach Boys, who signed with Capitol Records in July 1962 and released their first album, Surfin' Safari, that same year.  The band's initial surf-rock focus was soon broadened to include other themes. Wilson's innovative vocal and instrumental arrangements for major hits, including "I Get Around," "California Girls," "Wouldn't It Be Nice," "God Only Knows," and the No. 1 smash "Good Vibrations," established The Beach Boys as America's preeminent band of the 1960s.
