Farmer's Market / Orchards- Half day
Weekly farmers markets are offered throughout the summer. The Florence Farmers Market takes place on Thursdays at Pioneer Park from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm and Central Colorado Foodshed Alliance Caņon City Farmers Market is held on Wednesdays June through October near the Train Depot on 3rd Street. Visit www.ccfa.coop for details. Both farmers' markets offer a wide selection of fruits, veggies, organic food, local specialties and crafts.

Colon Orchards is an open-air farm market featuring local homegrown, seasonal fruits and vegetables that include ripe apples, peaches, apricots, cherries, watermelons, cantaloupe, summer squashes, winter squashes, sweet corn, cucumbers, tomatoes, green beans, onions, potatoes, large variety of peppers with roasting available and much more. There's also a bakery, five-acre corn maze and pumpkin patch, along with "Pick
Diana's Pumpkin Patch and Corn Mazeyour Own" apples depending on availability. School tours and group tours are available by appointment.

Diana's Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze is the oldest corn maze in Fremont County.The family-owned and operated business was built on the owner's love of nature, farming and meeting people. Explore the wonders of fall and take a hayride, browse acres of huge pumpkins, cozy up to the campfire and roast s'mores, sip cider and try the challenging corn maze or the easier maze where prizes are offered.

Le Fuselier Winery at Spring Creek Vineyards is a five-acre vineyard and farm winery featuring handcrafted wines from local grapes. Stop by the tasting room - open Saturdays noon to 5pm mid-September through December - and sample the latest varietals.

Located on the pastoral and serene grounds of The Holy Cross Abbey, nestled against the spectacular backdrop of the Wet Mountains, the Winery at the Holy Cross Abbey draws visitors form around the world. Hiking- 2-5 hours
Fremont County is surrounded by hiking, ATV and horse trails. Make sure to choose a trail that matches your ability. The Arkansas Riverwalk follows the Arkansas River through 6 miles of Caņon City.
