Sitting at 9,017 feet, the Dillon Reservoir spans 3,300 acres and boasts 25 miles of shoreline surrounded by magnificent peaks. Dillon also offers 26 miles of town trails, lakeside parks, and paths. Bike or walk the Recreation Path to the Frisco side of the lake and play at the Peninsula Recreation Area, where you’ll find a disc golf course, day lodge, multi-purpose field, campgrounds, trails, and a skate and bike park. Purchase a Colorado fishing license and try your hand at catching one of the reservoir’s 50,000 rainbow trout, stocked annually by the Colorado Division of Wildlife. After a long day of hiking, biking, paddling, fishing, and exploring Summit County, you can visit the handful of fun neighboring pubs and breweries.
