The Rocky Mountain Vibes are hosting our first ever Baseballoween at UCHealth Park presented by Raising Canes with a firework show at the end! This is a FREE event for everyone to enjoy trick-or-treating on our field, playing games on our concourse, watching a Halloween on our video board, eating your favorite concession items and trying seasonal craft beers. We will be having a costume contest for all ages and if you bring in non-perishable food items receive a FREE ticket to the Vibes 2025 Opening Day! All items will be donated to Care and Share. All About Oktoberfest
All About Oktoberfest – a fun evening of socializing with an exciting trivia contest – will be held at 7:30 pm Sunday, Sept. 22, at Horse & Dragon Brewing Company, 124 Racquette Drive in Fort Collins. The Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures is hosting the festivities, which include German beer, snacks, and music. The trivia contest, with both prizes and surprises, will focus on the history of the Munich Oktoberfest, which is celebrating its 189th year. Tickets for the evening are $40 per person and include refreshments and one beer, wine, or beverage. Reservations are required by Friday, Sept. 20, at globalvillagemuseum.org. St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner and Punch Bowl Social, is gearing up to deliver an unforgettable bash. Global Adventures — Chinese New Year
The 2024 Chinese New Year on Saturday, Feb. 10, inaugurates the Year of the Dragon. In commemoration of this date, the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures has arranged a dinner from 5:30-8:30 pm at Hunan Chinese Cuisine, 731 E. Harmony Road in Fort Collins, as part of its Global Adventures club. The evening will include a traditional three-course Chinese New Year’s dinner, non-alcoholic beverages, and dessert. A cash bar will be available. The event will include speakers from China, and participants will share stories of their experiences and travels in China. Reservations are $50/person, and registration is required by Feb. 3 at globalvillagemuseum.org. The Museum’s Global Adventures club is designed for those who love to travel, want to recount their travel experiences, delight in sharing stories of travel, and/or dream of traveling one day.
