Discussion led by John Myers of 80/Twenty Wines. While there is some controversy over the origin of the grape, it is generelly considered an American barietal. Most Zinfandel in the market today comes from California, but different areas have different nuances. You can be assured there will not be a sweet white Zinfandel in this class!
