Our Moonlight Dinner series welcomes you to ski, snowshoe, or ride the lift under the stars to our mid-mountain lodge for a chef-prepared meal that will transport your taste buds to another part of the world.Join us March 11th for a night in Southern France.
Reservations are required. This will sell out quickly; our Moonlight Dinners are some of our most popular events.
Check-in takes place between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. that evening in Guest Services. The 6th Alley Bar & Grill will be open for cocktails prior to the chairlift turning at 6:45 p.m.
Cancellation of this event may occur, prior to it going on sale, due to staffing or supply shortages. Thank you for your understanding.

Are you ready to hit the slopes for a good cause? Join us for a fun day of raising awareness and funds for ALS! The ALS Association Rocky Mountain Chapter will be hosting their annual Ski to Defeat ALS on April 1st, 2023, at Eldora Mountain Resort, no fooling! We will be partnering with Ignite Adaptive Ski Group who will be offering 5 people with ALS a special ski experience session from 1-3pm at no cost! Family, friends, and community members who wish to support our cause just need to register and hit a fundraising minimum to earn swag or lift tickets for an ALS awareness day on the slopes. New Year’s Eve Celebration Torchlight Parade & Fireworks Display

Join us for festive music, seasonal drinks, and other fun holiday activities as you watch the annual torchlight parade and fireworks display. Ski instructors and mountain patrollers put on a light show as they ski down the slopes to the base area with bright torches. Then, an impressive fireworks display lights up the night sky over a snow-covered mountain.

Santa and Mrs. Claus are making a stop at Purgatory Resort before the big night of gift deliveries! Bring your little ones by the Beach area on Thursday, December 22nd from 2:00pm to 3:30pm and get those Christmas wishes in!

Join the Adaptive Sports Association crew for an Ugly Sweater Showcase and Open House at the ASA Office at Purgatory Resort. Join us for hot cocoa and s’mores as you meet the ASA team, tour the Dave Spencer Center at Purgatory Resort (base of the Columbine Learning Area), and ring in the holiday season in “style”. Kids Adventure Games

What started as a backyard fun obstacle course for a few kids turned into a nationwide ADVENTURE RACE series spanning over a decade thanks to a dedicated team of outdoor professionals, who put on a n Eco Challenge/Mountain Games – style race for kids.Now in its 14th year, the Kids Adventure Games is returning to Vail Village August 10-14, 2023. Stepping into tomorrow with extra appreciation for our environment, teamwork, grit & confidence., with an awesome partner & community of friends. This experience truly does last a life time.In teams of two, participants compete together by bike, in water and on foot through a 2.5-4 mile course featuring up to 15 man made and natural obstacles. Races are limited to 130 teams per day. The Kids Adventure Games is more than a race, it’s an event for the whole family to enjoy!

Trick or Treat Trot

The Vail Recreation District will host the 30th Annual Trick or Treat Trot on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2022.
