Claim your all-access pass through the beautiful backcountry of the Rockies on horseback.  The trails are truly awe-inspiring with wide-open scenic views, and dense Aspen glades with lush green undergrowth that includes giant Cow Parsnip with their large, delicate flower. 

The rides are a mix of adventure, relaxation and quiet for the ultimate horse experience in the mountains including wildlife sightings, singing birds, lush green Aspen glades with their quaking leaves and blankets of wildflowers under blue, blue Vail skies.  The horses are gentle, yet perky.  The guides are knowledgable and quiet, yet engaged.

Summit Stage

Summit Stage

Bus service is available seven days a week, 365 days a year.  Buses depart Frisco Station from 6:00 am to 8:30 pm for destinations within Summit County.  A late bus departs Frisco for Lake County at 10:30 pm.  Buses depart Silverthorne Station from 6:15 am to 9:15 pm.  Buses depart Breckenridge Station from 6:45 am to 9:00 pm.  Please check full schedules on the Summit Stage website.

Arapahoe Basin Ski Area boasts the longest season in Colorado (October – June) and some of the highest skiable terrain in North America. HELLA HECTIC

CALLING ALL THOSE LOOKING TO GET HELLA HECTIC!Hella Hectic is the evolution of a classic ski and snowboard cross event. We reimagined the course seen at resorts around the globe and restructured the competitive divisions; from Men’s and Women’s Snowboarders and Skiers to Adaptive heats and even a whole division dedicated to Teams.Competitors will face off in heats of 4 riders on a course full of banked turns, rollers, drops and step-ups. Winner takes all in each division, with a pond skim finish line to seal the victory!It will be fast, competitive, and most important… HECTIC!With a $35K prize purse on the line, make sure you’re waxed up and ready to rip. It all goes down April 23rd at Copper Mountain, Colorado. Let’s get Hectic and hopefully stay dry!Spectators welcome to watch up close next to the pond skim and alongside the course.

Run the Rockies Road 10K & Half Marathon

The Run the Rockies Road 10k and Half Marathon will feature the traditional Run the Rockies Road Race course with runners starting near Copper Mountain; runners will follow the paved recreation path through the Ten Mile Canyon. The 10k course is 100% downhill and the half marathon course is 75% downhill. This course will showcase the beautiful fall colors in Frisco!

If you are looking for an Independence Day in a quintessential and mellow small mountain town, then Frisco will fit the bill. With big town amenities and amazing outdoor opportunities, yet a friendly, small-town feel, Frisco is the ideal place to make 4th of July memories.Frisco’s fabulous 4th of July celebration will still look a little different in 2021. But back again this summer, three blocks of Frisco Main Street from 2nd Avenue to 5th Avenue will be transformed into a pedestrian and bike only zone with open air dining and shopping and twinkling lights overhead providing more chances to shop and dine with a great view! The Promenade area of Main Street will also feature a variety of family friendly activities during the 4th of July weekend.
